January 31, 2005 - Wave7 Optics Named Finalist for 2005 EETimes “ACE” Award

Atlanta – January 31, 2005 – Wave7 Optics Inc., the world’s leading supplier of point-to-multipoint Ethernet FTTP (fiber-to-the-premises) systems for residential and business services, today announced the company has been named a finalist for the 2005 ACE Award, given by “EE Times” magazine and publisher CMP Media, in the category “Emerging Company of the Year.”

CMP established the ACE (Annual Creativity in Electronics) Awards to honor the people, companies, and products that demonstrate leadership in the electronics industry. The Emerging Company of the Year award will be given to the start-up chip or system company that has demonstrated excellence in business and/or technology development processes and has the potential to become a technical or market leader in a global electronics or telecom sector.
