Optics Selects NDI for Tier One Customer Support
ATLANTA – September 1, 2005 – Wave7 Optics Inc., a leading supplier of
fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) equipment for residential and business services,
today announced that they have selected Network Dynamics, Inc., a network
technology and life cycle solutions provider, to be its tier one technical
support service provider. Network Dynamics will provide 24x365 tier one
technical support to all of Wave7 Optics' domestic and international customers.
With this multi-year agreement, Network
Dynamics will link its Managed Services Center, based in Oldsmar, Florida, to
the Wave7 corporate headquarters and engineering groups in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Network Dynamics will work closely with the Wave7 Optics advanced engineering
support group to ensure faster turnaround and resolution of their customers'
technical support issues.
"We are in a high growth market and
needed a way to quickly augment our daily tier one customer support
capabilities, so that our in-house senior engineering resources could focus on
the more complex tier two and tier three customer support requirements," said
Bruce Roe, vice president of engineering for Wave7 Optics. "Utilizing NDI in
this capacity will allow us to maximize our resources and ensure that our
engineering staff will be able to interface with customers during critical
developmental stages of the network design and implementation process. It also
enables us to better support our international customers on a 24x7 basis."
