Optical Access Platform.
New "ONT" Equipment Gives Service Providers Greater Flexibility in the
Deployment of Residential and Business FTTP Services
ATLANTA / LAS VEGAS - March 20, 2006 - Wave7 Optics
Inc., a leading supplier of fiber-to-the-home and -premises (FTTH/FTTP)
broadband network equipment for residential and business services, today
introduced new "EFM" customer premises equipment at the TelecomNEXT conference
and exhibition in Las Vegas, where the company is exhibiting the industry's most
diverse FTTP product line in booth 1063 of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
"EFM" refers to IEEE 802.3ah "Ethernet in the First Mile" next-generation FTTP
networks now being deployed in high volume around the world.
The new ONT equipment consists of the following:

Model ONT-E100i - a "data only" device featuring one
10/100 Ethernet port for the delivery of high-speed data up to 100Mbits, IPTV
and VoIP services. General availability - now.

Model ONT-E1000i - a data only device featuring one
10/100/1000 Ethernet port for the delivery of data up to 1 Gbits, IPTV and VoIP
services. General availability - 2Q 2006.

Model ONT-E221 - a "triple-play" device featuring two
10/100 ports, two POTS telephone lines and one RF Video port for the delivery of
data with up to 200Mbits of throughput, standard telephony service (POTS), IP
Telephony (VoIP), IPTV and RF Video overlay. General availability - 2Q 2006.
"This new equipment represents a valuable extension to
Wave7's ONT product line, which is the broadest in the FTTP market", said

by our existing network management system and offer all the 'point and click'
provisioning, billing and other innovative benefits found in our existing
customer premises equipment.
The appealing consumer aesthetics and detail of the
ONT-E100i and ONT-E1000i come in a remarkably compact size (1.5"x5"x3.5"). These
cost-effective data only devices are redefining the economics of deploying EPON
FTTP networks. The ONT-E221 offers a field-proven, carrier class product based
on Wave7's extensive experience in delivering triple-play FTTP services.
