January 23, 2006 - Wave7 Optics Names Jack Bryant VP of Worldwide Sales
ALPHARETTA, GA - January 23, 2006 -- Wave7 Optics today
announced that Jack Bryant has joined the company as the new VP of Worldwide
Sales. Mr. Bryant was most recently President and Chief Executive Officer of
Concurrent Computer Corporation (NASDAQ: CCUR), a leader in providing digital
Video-On-Demand (VOD) systems to the broadband industry and real-time computer
systems for military, aerospace and government applications. Within the digital
broadband market, Concurrent earned an Emmy Award for their VOD technology and
built a leading VOD market share position through business with most of the
major North American cable operators.
Mr. Bryant has more than 23 years of telecommunications
experience with Concurrent, Arris, General Instrument and Scientific Atlanta,
which included sales, product management, marketing, engineering and technical
support. A native of Ohio, Mr. Bryant received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Administration from the University of Akron and a Master of Business
Administration from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
